With no reflection on your flying skills, I would build this kit strictly by the book, only because it is your first attempt at kit building. Give yourself some building experience first before trying to engineer modifications on your first build. Build it, fly it stock and see how you like the Four * 60 as is. It's a great user friendly plane.
