Default RE: Showtime

on the tailwheel spring. i have it in the location recomended in the manual.. there was someone in an earlier post said it was too tight there so i sprung it some so it wouldnt be so tight. but the constant working of the rudder in flight is breaking the springs.. the person that made the post also recomended setting the spring up like the Extra 260 H9. my friends was sitting right next to my plane today and i didnt even think to look and see how it is done on that one. i will figure something out there. that dont stop me from flying it. the spinner is a Great planes 2 1/2 I did a little whittling with the dremel to get the 17x4W to fit. and yes im using all the stock hardware. i added nuts to the controlhorns.(still no one said if they had them with their kit) As far as rating the plane. I would have to do it 2 ways. with and without SFGs with the SFGs it is a blast. Especially KE. BUT the SFGs in wind triples the winds effect on the plane when gusty. without SFGs it will pattern with amazing accuracy. second to a MMMMM patern plane 3D wise im still on the fience. mainly due to the rocking in the harriers. OHHHHH BTW i did some walls with it today and it will slide 30ft or so in the wall position (really cool looking). It rolling harriers FAST and i cant get them as high alpha as i like them (Like funtana 90). It will flat spin almost 1 revolution every 40 ft dropped.very slow. it will KE spin as fast as you want. waterfalls nice but im still falling to the side after 3 or 4. hovering is effortless but the plane is very sensitive so a little mistake will be noticable. I would say the plane is by far NOT a 3D trainer. its alittle more advaced skill wise than the funtana.but the things it does the funtana dont are worth the extra work on the sticks..
