Drum, Nice pic of UCD. How does your Showtime land? Are you at manual CG? What do you suggest on the wheel springs? What was your overall weight? Somehow weight has become very important to me. At my elevation and with the 110 I need to be under 9lbs. Under 8.5 is better. Under 8 is best. Are you disappointed in the Showtime? Mine is on the table, just getting started. Probably take me 10 days. Gonna use Hitec stuff and YS.
Thanks,
Barry
No im not dissapointed in my showtime at all.. i just know there is something wrong that is not bringing it to its full potential with the wings. if you look back a few posts at the pic of mine you can see how far the aileron is trimmed. i have mine on the rcomended CG and i am not going back any further. it is far enough there that it will do everything and still track true.I have 0 coupling in KE without SFGs. I am only on my 10th flight or so with it so im still tweaking here and there. I am going to do my spring like the pictures when HELOHELOHELLO puts them up.. I will weigh it today without fuel. If you like under 8 with the 110 you are gonna bee on the edge when hovering.. mine pulls out fine to me . i wouldnt sweat to bring it down to eye level with mine (when i get more comfortable with it) maybee your elevation is making the difference.
Oh yea mine lands great. bring it in chop the throttle.. settle it in. not floaty at all like the UCD or F90
