picco 60?
I have a chance to obtain a Picco 60, but don't know alot about it and there seems to be little info out there. Has anyone have any experience with this motor?
I know Picco doesn't make airplane motors anymore, (at least in the states) and have not been around the last few years. The motor is brand new in the box, it has a round exhaust port out the side made for a pipe and has the original tuned pipe with it. The head is black and the rear cover on the crankcase appears to be a black plastic. It also appears to have a black plastic type carb that looks alot like a perry carb. The motor looks a little clunky/squarish but seems to be well made. It weighs in at about 22 OZ with the pipe.
Looking inside the exhaust, it seems to have a brass sleeve or liner and a ring on the piston. According to the owner this was quite the hot speed motor in its day.
I know parts will be few to none and god knows what else, but I am a sucker for this kind of stuff, I would just like to learn a little more about it.
