Default RE: what engine for this CAP 1/4 scale ?

Yep the engine runs like a clock on the Cline or Ironbay regulator. One thing I found to make the engine start on the first flip with the regulator is to flip the prop 10 times to pressurize the tank. Then I prime the engine, it starts the first time with no exceptions. If I don't pre-pressurize the tank it doesn't start as easy.

That link is pretty cool. The only thing I take exception to is where it says all big engines can use lower oil content. The Moki's need more than the ST engines. I'd use 17% minumum. I heard it's because of the bearings on the Moki that require the higher oil content.

Joe good suggestion on the clein pump. I am running an ironbay pump on a 2.10 right now. it runs flawlessly.

Check this out on big motors
