i have a 3.2 on the plane to the left. Its an AeroWorks Edge unlimted verticle is what brison says up to 18lbs. I am around 16 lbs with nci batteries i have unlimted verticle running a 21 x 10 mezn at 6900. I will be switching back to a 22 x 8 here soon as i plan to try some imac. The motor will let you hang on the prop of fly unlimted if you so disire. Hit me up if i can be of any more assistance.
