Default RE: Newsletter assist

Our club was formed in 1991 and except for '92,'93 and '03 I've been the editor of the newsletter. I use the term "editor" loosely as it generally means that you are sorting out contributions from the members or the officers. I am more a newsletter writer than editor as there is never a note from any officer, or commitee chairman. The mindspring site is a treasure chest for all editors. I will use it many times and always give credit to the original author. I'm just getting around to printing pictures from my digital camera which sure helps fill some of that awful white space that has to be filled before the newsletter is ready to be printed and mailed. Fortunately it is only put out every other month unless there is a compelling reason or announcement that has to be in all hands before the next issue is due. I don't have to do it but I don't have to fly, sail or run airboats either. So far I've stayed about even and get lots of compliments.
