Man, I hate to hear about things like that happening. I feel for you. I actually got hit by a plane last year. Luckily the motor (Saito 120 to give you some idea of how big of a plane) died right before it hit me, but the plane took me to the ground. I wasn't flying, but instead was in the parking lot at the back of my truck (yes, he really screwed up and was flying someplace he shouldn't have been) when I got hit. It layed me out flat on the ground. I was fine after it happened, and even flew a couple of more flights that morning as well as teaching a student. But that night when I was home and went to bed I ran it through my mind and I got the shakes and had to get up, couldn't sleep the rest of the night. Then next morning I had a bruise that covered about 75% of my back, and I was really sore.

Since then I have been a stickler about safe flying and staying away from the pits and parking lot. In fact, some at the field probably think I'm pretty much an a**hole because of how much I preach about it. But I don't want to see anybody else go through that. It turned out ok, but could have been much much worse if the motor had still been running.

Once again, I'm really glad that you are ok.
