TSuppa, i mounted it about a 1/4 in above because after holding the engine on the mount to the firewall i thought that it would make it easier to do the cutouts on the cowl and it would also bring the carb closer to center of the tank and it worked out real well, in the pic you can see the difference in the line by the two little black marks and in the other how well the cowl lined up, any other posistion and the wowl would not line up so i did it. and it did not affect the way it flys.
