I ripped the left gear out of my RB a couple weeks ago and have called TT for a replacement. The gear block it self is laminated 1/8!QUOT! ply and it appers that the lamination has failed.

My conclusion is that the gear block is under designed. I've been building ARF's for many years and have not seen anything so whimpy. What did you do to reinforce the gear block. I went back in the thread and didn't find any thing i.e. that hadn'd already done myself?
