RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread
Well, it doesn't look like I'll have the video tonight. All of my friends around my neighborhood are at camps, and the one that is home doesn't know how to work a video camera. Just for the heck of it, tomorrow I'll get a few clips just so you all can see. I found out that it was running a little lean earlier today, and had to richen it up to keep it in safe operating temperatures. I didn't see much of a power loss though, it still ran really well.
One question though. I have this glow heater ([link=http://click here]http://www.hobbyworks.com/images/media/DYN1940-250.jpg[/link]) and it has this little meter at the top that shows the status of the glow plug and battery. You can't see it in the picture really, but the meter goes from 0 to 2, with a red background. Then it goes from 2 to 4 to 6, all in a green background. I really don't know exactly what this means, so could someone help me out? Usually, with a fresh battery, it reads 2... I don't know if that's good or bad. I'm also having a bit of trouble starting the engine while it is mildly warm... It doesn't seem to want to get fuel into it. I've primed it and everything, but it still doesn't want to go. Is this the glow plug, do you think? Or is it that my primer is broken. I could try holding my finger over the exhaust, I haven't yet. And I know already not to leave the glow heater on while doing that [8D].
Thanks!
