A Macs *1190* would work fine. I would then use a Karl Mueller Header, and a Perry vp 30 pump. I am using a 4.8v ni-mh 1100mah and it works great. The stock hardware is fine. Rudder and elevator are pull-pull, and hardware comes with the plane. Some of us posted pics of changes we made ealier in this thread. I think I remember Tommy S. used all stock hardware on his and he said it worked great. You are gonna like this plane![sm=thumbup.gif]
