Default RE: Showtime

The servos are still tight in the wing, and the hinges are as new.....aside from the landing gear ripping out and the front of the cowl cracked in a few places ( I wasnt very high off the ground ), the only damage is the folded wing right past the end of the tube....even the aileron isnt broken, just two stripped servos and the wing.
I wasnt going full throttle, but I had some speed, but nothing ridiculous. I had an APC 15 x6 on it, and was previously ( about 6 or so flights ) using a 15 x 4 on it. This was only the second flight with the 15 x 6......
My friend Chris Maier (an awesome pilot who did the Ultimate 3-D video that has been on the market for the past few months) and knows his stuff, was standing next to me and said there wasnt anything else I could have really done, as I cut the throttle immediately, and damn near landed it without further damage......
I want to build another, and feel this was probably an isolated incedent, but I am a bit reserved because I sure dont want to have this happen again. I wouldnt hesitate if it was because I flew it straight down full throttle, or wrecked it because of pilot error, or whatever...
I think if I do build another, I will defiantely seal the gaps, and use metal gear servos, but I am not totally sure that was the problem....
Thanks guys for your input........
