Sounds like the contruction and build for showtime is similar to the H9 260 (which is what I have after I crashed

my Mayhem). A couple of notes here:
1. Screw on horn: don't worry about it. I have it in a 15 lb airplane and it works just fine. Just be sure to glue it on with epoxy (the epoxy will harden and support the surface of the wood.
2. Canopy: some do like to mount a pilot on their airplane, and this provides them with a way to do that. I personally prefer the weight saving, but different strokes for different folks

3. Wing tube: I put a painter's tape on the part of the tube that will slide in the fuse. It won't slide out no matter how hard I try that way
