Hi y’all, well I’m the guy that bought aerobob’s Excelleron w/ST 2300, header and canister muffler. I’ve read all the write-ups posted here and learned much, but still have a lot to learn. The uniflow tank is new to me. I have read a lot of stuff about them and I “think” I understand how it’s suppose to work, but I’m having fuel feed problems at certain mid-range RPMs. Idle is good and top end is good, good transition from idle to WOT, but if I stop at half throttle for more than a few seconds the engine sputters and stutters until I either go back to idle or WOT.

I have one flight on this bird. It trimmed out with just a few clicks on down and flies very nice. Because of the erratic mid throttle I decided to land. I would rather be right and lucky than just be lucky.

Any suggestions!
