I am helping a friend rebuild a crashed Aerostar 40. It looks like the engine was mounted to high to begin with. The tank is about an inch below the center line of the carb.

Can anyone give me the distance from the bottom of the firewall, that the thrust line should be located? We would really appreciate it!
