Default RE: Should i buy a JATO?

ORIGINAL: NitroRulz23

I am getting a new truck for my birthday and i have wanted a jato for quite a while. i haven't been on these forums for a while so i haven't had a chance to see the pro's and cons. could someone please break this down for me? is it a good basher? what parts do i need to plan ahead on buying? would i be better off with a REVO?

If you want to seriously bash then get a Savage...The Revo's tough but the Savage is a bit tougher. Revo's alot faster and really I haven't broken much on either but for serious bashing don't even consider a Jato it's a ST not made for serious bashing at all. And yes you will need to change your Jato's tires around the time you get thru breakin...they go bald fast...Also on my Revo I broke the stock rims..they are cheaply made...I also bent my frame from hard jumps 15'+...My Savage all it has ever had happen so far is glow plugs and bodies nothing else seems to fail on it even after I've rammed into it with a 1/6th scale gaser....both revo and savage are easy to tune and start both pretty durable...for support and speed...revo would win....durabilaty..hands down the savage.

Cost between revo and savage are about the same...revo comes with battery pack added...savage doesn't...both need failsafes added...revo also comes with reverse...savage doesn't...even though I rarely ever used reverse on my revo....both have 2 speeds...savage can be upgraded to a 3 speed trans which really gets it cooking
