Big Barry, Very good point. The 16.5x5W gave virtually the same thrust as the 16x6 but at a lower RPM. Maybe when it unloads in the air it would be better. I know you are at about the same elevation as me. I'm gonna maiden mine tomorrow if the wind will allow it. I'm going with the known variable right now the 16x6 but I felt like the Yak was a little too heavy for the 110 with the 16x6. It will hover fine but pull out is weak especially above 80 degrees. I think part of it with the Yak is that great big cowl. I'm sure it makes a lot of resistance. My Ultra Stick seems to have more pull out and it's nine pounds even. Even the Funtana seems to pull out better. The only difference I can think of is resistance. The Showtime looks more regualar in the cowl area, hopefully that will make it pull out ok. Anyways, I'm impressed with the build on this plane. Very, very nice. I trimmed it out and broke in the engine. I'm ready to fly.
thanks,
Barry
