Default Cermark Bobcat .40 ARF, Any Good ???

Jeez, guess I forgot to get back to this thread! Mine came w/ a Thunder Tiger G.P..42 (inverted) that is really a nice little motor. Perf. was good, but not quite what I wanted, so I installed an O.S. .46LA that I had hanging around, same bolt pattern, and that helped. It's a nice flying plane, I second what TTARK says... It'll do pretty much whatever you want to do (within reason) and do it well. It's a good "sport-pattern" type, similar to a late 60's- early 70's era pattern ship. I got a little aileron flutter w/ the more powerful engine @ high speed, so watch out over powering it too much. Reinforce the back side of the firewall, and I 'glassed the wing center section, for peace of mind...
