There is no problem in switching to Futaba, is a great system for sure. My concern is if the used market at your home behave the same as here in Brasil. In this case you would be loosing lot's of money.

You could borrow a instructor Futaba to get your lessons and learn how to setup your JR, there is a tons of information about that. When you start flying solo you do with your JR. It is just my thought based on a different reality.

But think about the future, if a new member in your club decides to go for JR you can help him ;-)

BTW, my choices are : JR, PC and Stick!!! :-)
