Default RE: Good aerobatic model for Laser 150 ?

Jolly,

I have a Laser 150 in a Goldberg Sukhoi. It is JUST enough power to fly the plane through "normal" aerobatics, but if you enjoy flying, as opposed to flipping and flopping around, then it is a good combination.

I've also had this engine in a Goldberg Ultimate biplane, and it is perfect in that model (which is a couple of pounds lighter).

Those Lasers are amazing artifacts. They're horribly expensive over here, due to the exchange rate; which is why I don't have more than one.

Just keep in mind that the Laser 150 has the power of a Jap 120; just about any model that calls for a 1.20 four stroke will do fine. The CG Sukhoi is a bit heavy in that regard (mine weighs 11.5 pounds). If all you're looking for is a test mule to get some time on the engine, a Hangar Nine Ultra Stik would be just the ticket- a good, solid flyer that goes together quickly and easily.
