Default RE: paint help!

Hi,

Well, it depends on what you are planning to paint it with. If you have paint equipment, PPG, DuPont, House of Kolor all make fine paints. You can get them at most any auto parts store. When you go there you will probably have many different books of colors to look through. You can choose from a single stage or more popular a B/C or basecoat/clearcoat type finish. I prefer B/C paints but there is somewhat more involment in shooting this type of paint. It involves painting a color coat and going over it with clear coat. The nice thing about this is that you can purchase clear to suit your needs and budget. The deeper the shine the more money you will spend. I am somewhat fortunate (?) as I do have a paint room and all the equipment I need. If, however, you don't have paint guns, compressors, etc then Krylon makes some great paint. I use their brand of plastic paint quite often with good success. If you follow their directions you will achieve good results.
