i have a water cooled header that i cant keep o-rings in! they keep melting causing water to flow into exhaust or if both melt (which eventually they both do) water spills into hull. obviously this is not good. i have a water pump which is overkill considering i dont have a clutch. water flow is good. i am running water from the head directly to the header but surely that is not causing the problem!? or could it? my couple also keeps breaking at the pipe. what am i doing wrong? should i be using a wet exhaust and will this decrease my performance?

i appreciate any advise you have to offer.
