I'm thinking (not sure) that there are functional electronics inside your buddy box that also need to be switched, if possible. If I'm correct and they can not be switched, then this particular combination may be unusable.

Again, check with Airtronics for specifics. Maybe a shop like Radio South could give you information also.

Just thought of a question that was missed. You are leaving the power switch on the buddy box turned off, aren't you? If turned on, this could be your problem.
