Default RE: Four Star 60 Build...The Saga Begins

Hey guys...thanks for all the great pieces of advice. One thing I didn't know about my radio was that the trainer switch could be used as a cutoff for the engine. This is a new radio to me so that piece of advice really helps me out. I can live with adjusting down to a a decent idle then using the trainer switch to kill the engine.

As far as re-reouting the cable is concerned, that was a mess up on my part. I realized after I had installed the throttle cable tubing that I actually drilled the hole and installed it through the top of the last fuselage former rather than the bottom. I have the tubing CA'D in the former hole and at the firewall. In addition it sits on the outside of the foam I have wrapped around the tank....and it is pretty tight. I'm not sure if I can rerout it at this point without completely removing the tank.

I'm outta town again....Ft. Myers Florida this time...so I'll have to wait until Friday to make any additional adjustments.

Thanks for all the advice and continued encouragement. Stick with me guys...we'll have this baby flying soon
