Default RE: engine

Are you keeping the plug warmer on?

Fire it up rich, then let it run with the warmer on for a half-3/4 tank of fuel, then lean it out a little and see if it will run without the warmer on. Lean it out enough to run without the warmer on and run another tank through it-keeping it rich (Between each run, let the engine cool completely.). After that you should be able to lean it out just enough to fly it. Make sure it transitions smoothly from low to high-end-adjust accordingly as needed, if needed.

Super Tigre loves to run with slightly higher RPMs. Run a prop that will let it run up to 10-12,000 RPMs.

Mine ran perfectly using this proceedure.

Always run this engine on the rich side. When it's running right, you'll see a trail (of oil) coming out of the exhaust that looks almost as cool as smoke!

There are some great posts on this motor in the engine forums.

Hope I helped.
