I'm toying the idea of a saito 180 or a MVVS 1.6 gasser. There isn't much of a weight difference between them.
Neo
Is my info wrong?
SA180 -- 33.5oz with muffler
MVVS 1.6 --37oz with ingnition + 3oz battery + 6oz for muffler = 47oz
So if my info is correct the 1.6 is almost 1 pound more.
You could get by with a smaller fuel tank though. How much smaller?

BTW, I just seen KYLE fly last weekend at an IMAC event and he had stripped his F90 and put all his gear in a Showtime.

Also, it does appear that a 4.8V (4 cell) battery will last about 5% to 8% longer than a 6.0V(5cell) battery--this does not seem significant to me as it is also holding the servo arm closer to the desired position.
It looks like the disadvantages are the cost and weight of the extra cell. For instance a 6.0v 1800mah pack could weigh 5oz (1oz per cell) or you could go with a 2500mah 4 cell 4.8v (1.35oz) that weighs 5.4oz and get a significantly longer duration with very close weight.
