I was also xtremely vocal about my "issues" running G3. When I got G3 I had a 9800pro card in my PC and it was hard for me to maintain at least 30fps. At the time (7 months ago) the 9800pro was considered to be one of the fastest vidcards on the market. I ended up spending $400+tax for a Nvidia 6800GT 256meg card and performance is now acceptable, but if I crank up the AA/AF the fps still dip below 30[X(] (with AFPD and all settings maxxed I get fps in excess of 600). Most of the postings over at the KE forums are from new users who cant get g3 to run on their systems and the answer is always the same "sorry but your vid card is not supported at this time". Whenever somebody asks the question "should I get AFDP,G3 or Reflex" I always tell them don't even consider G3 unless you have an Uber PC or you will be dissapointed!!

I always preffered G3 over the others because of its multiplayer capabilites, unfortunetly for me I have been unable to connect to multiplay sessions for some time now so my enthusiasm for G3 has faded.

Jay and I were helping G3 become a more enjoyable sim -nobody can deny this! Will G3 "survive" without us? Of course it will.
