I had to purchase a shim kit from local hobby store. I think I used 2 washers or one thick one right against the main bearing on the motor to get just enough to lock down pilot shaft. When I got the kit I just found the washer that fit the best around the crank and about the same size as the main crank bearing on front of motor. You aren't trying to use the spinner piece that came with the motor are you? sorry I forgot to mention all this!!! P.S.
