Default RE: Engine tools

1) yea threadlock the mount screws and the c/b screw, not sure about the engine head screws - i never bothered as mine have never come loose. be careful with the threadlock, u dont need much, i made that mistake before...

2) ur gonna have to take the manifold off to get to them properly. its worth getting a stainless steel screw kit for it, check out ebay for those. i use a ton of threadlock on these screws purely cos they are a pain to get to. watch out tho, the alloy mount is quite soft and the threads strip fairly easily. dont forget to get a new manifold gasket or 3...

one more thing - the screws that go thru the chassis and into the engine mounting plate should be replaced with longer ones so u can get a nut onto them. i also recommend that for the screw thru the lower part of the engine mount and for the manifold screws.

yea its a pain to do, but if u do all that with the right gearmesh, then u wont have any spur probs for a long time (subject to stones etc)

hope that helps
