Default RE: Cessna UC-78

I built one. Modified it quite a bit---no rubber bands to hold the wing on. Used nylon screws into hardwood blocks in the fuse. Use the standard approach to reinforce the wings. Mine has Irvine .39's. Also installed two Ironbay fuel regulators to control the flow from the tanks which are in the wing root. I can make epoxy or polyester cowls for you since I still have the molds used on mine. Also can vacuum form the cockpit windshield for you since I have that plug too. Flies great----you will be surprised how light weight it is since the fuse is basically a hollow balsa sheet box with a few stringers. How does it fly.....great! Does not like to land since it is a real floater. Takes quite a bit of lead in the nose to balance it. Even so, it is a lot of fun to build. Used F&M Enterprises Stits light for covering and the Polytone system of paints. Email me if you need more info. Regards.
