Dude, the engine will be fine if the crank case is undamaged. The pipe has just been given a bit of 'character' and as rolland says, the stock CEN tower is sitting there just waiting to be bolted on.
If you do need to replace the head, I'm sure good ol' ebay will come to the rescue.
May have to arrange a race against a real Savage though, one with a 'proper' engine in it!!!
