I to was a black or white guy until my wife Jan fell and was paralyzed on her right side in May. I believe that the guy upstairs is who let her get better because the doctors told us there was nothing they could do for her. 3 months now and she can drive, write her name, and do all kinds of other things we never hoped she could do then.
