Default RE: Showtime

Big Barry, My CG is right on the money and the thing flys & lands like a baby. Nobody else on this thread has had any real CG complaints. From your description, it does sound tail heavy. I would suggest that you recheck your measurements...You know...measure twice, cut once....
Are you checking it at the fuse? Something sounds fishy.

Here's what I do if I can't use a balancer. At the root, from the leading edge, measure (twice) and mark the CG on the root rib. Draw a line square to the rib, and then transfer the mark to the wing surfaces. About 1/4" to 3/8" from the root, apply a very small drop of epoxy. After it fully cures, install the wing and "feel" for the "dots" and lift.

I put the dots on the bottom only, and did not balance this plane upside down...

Good Luck, I hope you find the cause.
