Some how the glow plug threads on my OS 91 got trashed, and I was wondering what the proper tap size would be to clean out the threads? I do know it is not 1/4-20, since the threads are much finer that that.

If the threads are really bad, I may need a helicoil insert, but I thought I would try re-tapping first.
