GWS PT-17 crashed on best flight yet
well i have been wanting to get this plane in the air. yesterday i maidened it and didn't think it flew very well. it was very touchy on the ailerons and had no power. well after the 3rd crash yesterday i brought it home and fixed it and put an 1147 on it and reduced the aileron throws. i went out to fly it this morning and it flew BEAUTIFULLY!! it was banking perfectly and i didn't have to make any trim adjustments. it is my favorite plane so far! well the battery was just about dead and i decided to giver her one more go. well it flew fine until the sun blared in my eyes! it ran right square into a light pole![:@] well you can see what i did in the pics. i hope to have it in the air again asap.
