I would glue the floor into the canopy as it makes the canopy much stronger. I used screws, later replaced with blind nuts and metal threads. I can’t remember the AUW. It has a fairly high wing loading which doesn’t help the flight characteristics. I now have the CM pro Katana it has a 10% larger wing area and flies very nicely. My problems may be due to being a heavier model to start with not sure!

The Katana also has issues with the entry to the inside. Do a search on the Katana there is a very big thread on here about build and flight report it has some pictures of a mod to make a removable canopy this may be adapted to the extra for a sturdier canopy.
