Default RE: My Aging Sig 3D Mayhem

Hey, I have had no issues with the wing joint on mine (in the initial build I put a thinned brushed on coat of slow cure Epoxy on all the bare wood I could get to) maybe that helped. I did have the bottom TWO rudder hinges fail (one was probably gone before the other and I did not notice.) I wanted more rudder area anyway so I made a new larger rudder and used 1/4 scale Durbro pinned hinges (3) it probably has only had 15-20 flights since the modification, but there are no signs of fatique in the new hinges. I have never seen ANYONE keeping a log of flight hours on a model at our corn patch field. I see all the posts that state flight counts on planes, do you guys really do that? I do WAY more data tracking than I want to at work man, I just came to fly!!!!!
