i have seen a post or two here where the h9 p5i has had flutter or loose hinges- which i think may be hard to tell apart. i just put my h9 p51 together and to eliminate the chance of flutter i added a 1/16 sheet of balsa to the top of the horizontal stab. of course i also enlarged the slot in the fuselage to fit.
then i re-covered it in my preferred warbird colors which include ultracote fluorescent red for visibility in the air. i have flown it and it flies very well- although i am working to see if i can get the speed from this plane that i want. i tried a saito 100 on it and this thing is definitely slower than my top flite p51 with a super tiger 90 2 stroke. i have been using a 14-8 prop on the saito and will be trying a 13-10 next... if the weather holds
