It kind of evolved over the last 50 years or so. Right now it is a top of the line 700ft x 150ft asphalt AMA sketched out park. Rules & regs apply, you fly like an idiot, your gone! Like you said, no trees or buildings in the way. Funny though without and hazards like that,people still find ways to entertain us if you know what I mean.
