I've been flying the plane for quite a while without using the floor and it works just fine. I just use 4 screws and I only take two off and bend the canopy over to attach and detach the wings. To keep the wings on I use zip ties where the factory springs would go and do not use the bolts. I can get the plane together in about 3 min at the field. This plane is actually my daily flyer and I have a ton of flights on it. I use an OS 160fx with an 18x6W APC prop, it has unlimited vertical and weight is in the low 12lb rang, definately not a 3D plane but can do smooth aerobatics well. It can also hover, but its not the best plane for it. Here is a video I had made of it. Me and another buddy of mine both have them, flying two together is really a blast.
