Default RE: Vectorflight Edge 540 build

You've probably re-hinged it by now. But .......another pic or two. First pic is mine when I was first building it and the one hanging belongs to ckangaroo70 I believe.
Have had few problems with mine so far except the wings are getting quite loose from normal flying and have to be shimmed during assembly everytime. And I tried to fly it the other day during high wind conditions (18 to 20mph) and it would duck and dart around because of wind sheer. It will handle 10 to 15mph winds and that's about as windy as I care to fly in anyway.
Need a new cowling. Mine has melted in areas from the Saito-100's heat. I have cut larger holes and directed the exhaust out the side now. Before I had it neatly tucked inside the cowl using an extention out the bottom.
(VF=John,, if your reading this,,,, and you have an Edge cowling laying around. Could you give a dog a bone ? Please?)
