A Pro36 equipped model will weigh exactly the same, but make considerably more thrust... I was flying my 4lb Uproar 40 with a TT GP-42 (similar to an 40LA in terms of weight, but a bit more powerful) and saw a dramatic difference when I stuck the Pro-36 up front. I'm guessing that if the plane is sub-4.25lbs, you'll likely see unlimited vertical capability with the 36.
