Default Modeltech Extra 300 Nice But.....

I've got one of these, and had an os32sx/macs pipe combo on it. I turned my motor downward to dump the pipe out the bottom of the fuse. I split mine in half on a flatspin/ground encounter, and rebuilt it with none of the plastic. I also sunk a 720 nimh pack in the tail, and reinforced the tail with 4/40 rods (had them layin around, and needed the tailweight), and fiberglassed the wing joint all the way around.. Mine was under 3 3/4 lbs, and flew with an APC 10/4 or 11/3 prop on 10-15%nitro. Performance was ballistic, and it would do the coolest tumbles.

I used standard servos all the way around, and a standard futaba receiver.

I still have mine, but broke the fuse at the wing mount on a hard flameout landing. It's repairable, so I may put it back up in the air again. I thought I had a buyer for mine, but I've not heard anything back from him in a while.

Heres a recent pic of it, without the cowl.
