Would the GP-42 also be going on the Spectrum? If that's the case I'd say go with the little Extra. The GP would give marginal performance on the Spectrum. It comes out weighing a bunch more than the Extra (especially if you intend on using retracts) which means that power would be marginal with the use of that engine.
