I know you did not ask me but here is what I think. Since in my and most others opinion heat cycling is the best way to break a motor in I sure would not use a static stand for break in. In heat cycling you have to run the vehicle and not let it sit and idle. If you want to let sit and idle you can do that in the car. Do not know about the stand you are talking about but if it has a fan you always have one aimed on the motor while in the car, which I do not recommend, for break in. The only stand I would put my money in if I had it would be and engine dyno all others in my opinion are a waste of money. But each to there own.
