I don't know how much throw that is b/c I usually look and guess degrees. I have always flown mine at high rates about 45 degrees and low rates about 2/3's of that. I find it quite difficult to fly very smooth w/o some expo, but, you might not have the problem. I like to have at least 25% expo. Also.. i think my rudder trim is more than 3/4 inch!! I don't have right thrust and just mixing rudder to throttle. Is that really enough to even control the plane especially if you get in trouble. I guess I have never measured the stuff, but, that seams so tiny.
