How did everyone go about cutting out the cowl? I just got a new cowl and need to cut it up to match the new engine. When I cut the first one I wound up with a lot of fibreglass strands dangling from my cuts. I even got some cracking around a couple of the cuts.
I started my cowl work with a dremel tool but I found a half round and rattail file to work best for me.
The cowl will chip and crack and the files seemed to give me more control over that problem.
