So, how did the test flights go ?
When I got ready to install the radio in the Tiporare I decided to go with a new Futaba 9C Super PCM, with high end digital servos, big battery, etc. After installing the system, I determined that it would be prudent to become familiar with the system before flying the Tiporare, so I upgraded all of my other aircraft with Futaba PCM receivers. I have been cycling through them as I upgraded them to PCM and getting accustom to all the new 9C features. I’m finding the 9C Super to be an excellent radio system and I expect to start with the Tiporare soon but need to break in the engine, etc.
