RE: New 3W-157
Dick I set up both engines using the same AMT pipes at 800 mm.I didn't play with the length at all.Just wanted a base run of both engines.I used the same MSC 32\10 prop on both engines,it's alot of wood!! They both have the same carb on them.I only turned the high speed needles on both engine till they pretty much smoothed out.
Both engines are very smooth running and have great throttle response even being new. They are both new and never run befrore other than at the factory. The 3W was 300 rpm stronger. They both started first flip after being primed. How does one choose and engine when they are both so good.
Any info you have on the AMT pipes would be greatly appreciated Dick.I would like to get them tuned correctly.
Thanks Jack
